I've helped many men have a successful experience of therapy.
Maybe something here applies to you:
-Adjusting to being a first time Dad: tired, grumpy, fighting with wife, who am I?
-Newly married and not sure how to do this right
-Feeling uncomfortable in your own skin .....can't relax
-Wish you had better friendships
-Annoyed with your parents and your extended family but not sure how to feel better
-Had thoughts of wanting to die / Drinking too much / Eating all the time
-Hate yourself or feel really critical of yourself often
-Feel unmotivated and can't get going to reach any goals in your life. Not even sure what you want
-Drug use or gambling has others concerned or maybe you don't like the way its taking control of your life
-Want more insight and awareness about yourself or your relationships. Don't really have any big issues going on but feel like life could be more fulfilling and you're curious about understanding yourself and others better.
-Stuck at work and feel overwhelmed, angry, or resentful.
-Plain old Daddy issues. Yep, it happens...
As a therapist, I work well with men; especially men who've never tried therapy or think it's a waste of time.
